My new domain is up and I’m just working out a few of the bugs. I invite you to check out the new site and sign up for future posts from that location. Starting Monday we’ll bring back Immortal Monday and I hope to blog twice a week from DebraKristi.com, assuming no unforeseen family complications.
Of course, we’re still tracking Thor around the world. When he decides to pop up you’ll get an extra shout. Speaking of Thor, excitement broke out at my house a week or so ago. I was packing for the SoCalRWA conference when the doorbell rang. It was the mailman with special delivery for the amazing Lesann Berry. My kids always get super excited when the mailman comes to our door. They snatched the package up super quick and popped the end open.
It was the sound of one little seven year-old girl. Her excitement was bouncing off the walls. We had the theatrical poster of the blockbuster movie Thor in our hands. YAY! We jumped up and down thanking and praising Lesann. Woot woot! And then Monkey and I began fighting over whose room the poster would hang in.
Check out this excited little girl…
Does this make you miss your Thor updates? Well, you’re in luck. I have something right here to satisfy that appetite.
Thor has been privy to many gracious hostesses. He’s enjoyed good tussles and plenty of women have wanted to stroke his – um – hammer. What happens when one tries to take things to the next level? Stop over at Kristy K. James’ blog for the full story.
The Day Thor Came To Visit
All the bloggers along the Thor tour appreciate your visits and support. Let’s follow Thor’s travels and start the chatter on twitter. You can ask questions and Thor’s hostesses can keep us updated via the #ThorTour hashtag.
Is never too late to join in the fun. Just leave a note here or on Thor’s tour page if you’d like to participate and we’ll get you added to his itinerary.

Looking forward to seeing your new site! Now off to see what’s up with Thor…
Thank you, Jennette. Thor has been a busy guy. He always keeps us entertained.
Looking forward to the return of Immortal Monday–and of course my turn with Thor! 🙂
Thanks, Coleen. I meant to message you about Thor yesterday. I’ll pop over and do that right now.
Your new site looks great 🙂 My site just got a facelift a couple weeks ago, so it’s fun we’re going through the shift together. I’m still fixing broken links, etc., but I couldn’t be happier with my new look. I hope you end up as happy in your new home. And I’m looking forward to the return of Immortal Mondays.
Hey Marcy! I saw your new look the other week. I can’t remember if I commented or not, but I really like it! I need Laird’s help with everything. LOL. Immortal Monday really is my thing. It helps me keep my focus. They’ll just be shorter, possibly more concise to make them more manageable. I’m glad it’s getting such a great reception.
I’ve missed Thor ever since our giggle-fest in Santa Monica. 🙂 I’m excited for more Immortal Mondays, too!
Silly Thor is always up to no good. Wasn’t there some mention of him helping you with your book tour/promotion at one point? Or am I making things up? Yay for Immortal Mondays. I think I just needed time to step back, rest and organize.
The new site looks great! I love the movement and colors.
Thor! I can only imagine the trouble he brought to Kristy’s life. I need to go read about his adventures.
I got the impression Barbie had a hand in some of that trouble at Kristy’s house. LOL. Now it’s your turn for the trouble. 😉 Thanks for the compliment on the site. Laird is a wizard at that tech stuff.
So excited Immortal Monday is coming back, though I do know it means a lot of research and hard work on your part. But we appreciate it. 🙂
Congrats on new site.
The posts are work, but I enjoy them and they spark ideas for stories all the time. Going forward I plan to make the posts more manageable for me and shorter, quicker reads for you. Thanks on the new site. Now if I can just get through spring break with the kiddos. 😉
My adult-onset ADD is kicking in, and I’m going to have to scroll back up in a second to remember what I wanted to say. WHERE did you get your WIP tickers (or whatever they’re called)??? I LOVE them!
Okay…since you and your little monkey are fighting over the Thor poster, I can help bring the peace back to your household. Just send the poster to my house. 🙂
Thanks so much for sharing Thor with me. I really enjoyed having him, though I wish I’d sent Barbie off on a Lake Michigan cruise. When he gets back to your house, apologize to him again for me. And tell him if he’d like to come back someday, I’ll send her on that cruise…or sedate her until he leaves.
I’m sorry, Kristy. I though I responded already. I must have used the tickler at the top and it disappeared. That happens to me often. I don’t recall where I got the WIP tickers, but I am happy to share the code with you if you like.
Don’t worry about Thor. I got that covered. I am the queen. I rule the house. 😉
Thor was more than happy to visit you. You have just given me an idea. Barbie taking a cruise in her attempt to deal with the loss of Thor. There’s your post. LOL. There can be a support group organized for plastic women left devastated by Thor, Hehehe
Immortal Monday is one of my favorite reads. Yay!
So glad to hear that Debra!
No arguing over the poster. I say you each get it for a month, then you must switch for a month. It’s like a custody agreement.
w/a Jansen Schmidt
What? Share custody with a seven-year-old? What are you slipping in your juice? 😉 I win! I’m the mommy! 😀 Hehehe
Congratulations on the new site! Now, I’m off to see what Thor’s been up to…
Thank you, Sheila! It’s good to see you. Hope you enjoyed catching up on Thor’s travels.
I look forward to seeing your new site, Debra! And I am so relieved that Thor visited me before the Twitter feed started. What pressure! Now, I’m off to catch up with my favourite Norse god. I’m intrigued to hear what that bad boy has been up to lately 🙂
It’s not meant to add pressure. I’ve been so lax I can’t say anything has even posted to twitter yet. That’s me – slacker! LOL.
I’m loving the new site so far. 🙂 And I love that you’re going to have time for Immortal Mondays again.
Thanks, Krystal. It may be the only post I have time for. We’ll see. Fingers crossed.
He’s been so many places. Your kids will never forget how much fun they’ve had doing this too 😉
It’s been a ton of fun. We’re thinking about raising funds to send him home at the end. How fun would that be? Rainbow bridge and all! 😉
I can’t wait to see the new digs all set up. I loved the glimpse I had of it the other day. And you know what I think of Immortal Mondays! *tosses confetti* 🙂
Oooh! Confetti! Super fun. Me thinks it’s time for a party. 😀 Thank you for bringing the festive attitude, Diana!
Congrats on your new home/website Debra! You’re gonna love it! And glad to know that Thor is still out there using his super powers for the greater good. No telling what happned at Kristy’s digs. I”m off to check it out! 🙂
Thank you, Karen. It’s been a project getting all moved. Now I get to start over from scratch. Fun times. I like it! Thor has been a busy guy. Now we need to get all the posts up and running. Thanks for stopping by.
