What would you do for love?
Let’s face it. The feeling is addictive. It can drive people to crazy extremes. Would you climb the highest mountain? Run across the state? Sit through a marathon of your least favorite television show?
How many frogs are you willing to kiss to find your perfect match?
(I have hundreds in my backyard if you need a few to find out)
The search can be a long, hard and tedious one. And once we’ve found it, sometimes it’s not all fairy tales and cocktails. Love is real, and hard. It takes work to keep it strong and going smooth.
Sometimes all you want to do is escape to that easy, simpler romance the couples always seem to find in books. Well guess what? I have just the thing.
Five Minute Love Stories
Click on the book to shop it at Amazon!
This book brings you twenty-two short stories exploring the many sides of love. In general the stories feature love in the traditional sense. But a few show love in broader terms, i.e. love of family or pet, and even something hot and spicy. It’s brought to you by the Los Angeles Romance Authors (LARA).
You can find my paranormal love story, Finding Julian, included. The premise of this story is based on an idea that’s patiently waiting to be developed into a book. This short would be the sequel to the book. I was at war with myself not to edit the hell out of Finding Julian the last time they sent it to me for a look prior to print. 😀 Check it out and meet Maddie and Julian.
And before you head over there, tell me – what would you do for love? I’ve had to step back from the blog a bit these past few weeks for my family. I’m sure you’ve noticed the frequency in posting and comment response. Don’t worry, I’ll find my rhythm and it will get better. But we do what we must for love.
Isn’t that right Bobby?

Thanks for stopping by! I truly appreciate your support. Until next time, au revoir.
I’m with you Debra, anything for my family!
Congrats on the book–the cover is super cute and attention grabbing. 🙂 Here’s to finding your rhythm!
All the best. 🙂
Family must come first, right? We only get one chance there. Thanks so much. I can’t look at that cover and not crave all the sugary badness. LOL.
Yea! Congratulations! Love the cover. 🙂
Thank you, CC! Doesn’t it make you hungry? It makes me want to kill this eating healthy thing I’ve got going on.
This sounds wonderful!
Thanks, Jennifer. I’m so glad you could stop by.
For that answer, let me refer you back to one of my last few posts:

I think it says most of it, but short answer: Depends of the type of love…my children, almost anything; my family, close to that…

Congrats, Debra. That cover is really sweet 😉
Thanks, Emma!
Congrats on the new release! I will definitely check it out.
I would do a lot for my love – sit through an all-day marathon of Bar Rescue? No problem! Watch football with him all day Sunday? No way! True love there is when he says he’s going out to watch with his friends, and I say, “Have fun!”
LOL! We can only go so far, right? My husband doesn’t watch much football. The only game he is really interested in is the super bowl and the past two years the company has had him traveling on super bowl Sunday. Sucks for him. 😐 But I can tell you are a good woman. He’s lucky to have you.
Congratulations Debra! I am behind this week and missed this! How exciting to have a story included!
It’s fun. Even if I did want to change it by the time it went to publication. *snicker* Thanks, Susie. 🙂
Aw, the cover is so fun! Makes me want to whip up a batch of cupcakes and decorate them in sugary fabulousness. Family is always first. Chocolate second. No wait, writing is second. Or is that chocolate first, family second? Hmmm, I need a piece of chocolate to help me think. Or a cupcake. Dang it! Now I’m craving sweet stuff. Evil.
