Can you believe December is already here? Who’s ready for the holidays? I’m not. For those of you in the same boat as me, we’ll have fun getting ready in the next couple of weeks, won’t we? Let the fun begin!
But why am I so excited that I am blogging on a Saturday? It’s December 1st.
Open Doors: Fractured Fairy Tales if officially available.
You can now grab it in both eBook and paperback on Amazon as of today (it will be available at Barnes & Noble and other retailers very soon). And for today only you can get the e-edition free! Woo hoo!
From December 1st through the 20th all profits from this anthology will be donated to Primary Children’s Hospital in the form of Christmas gifts for the long-term patients staying there. What’s not to love about that?
Fractured Fairy Tales is a fun copulation of short tales based on nursery rhymes and fairy tales. My short story, The Lonely Egg, can be found included in this edition. It’s a new look at the tale of Humpty Dumpty.
But wait! There’s more. Wayman Publishing is holding their Christmas Book Fair on the 2nd, , 3rd , and 4th. It’s the holidays, take advantage. Come on, you know you want to. 😉
I LOVE your story in the anthology. It is soooo creative. The ending is especially witty 😉
Thank you, Elisa. That means a lot to me.

Please buy my friend Debra’s book, so she can afford new stockings… actually the money goes to a good cause. Here, I’ll let her tell it…
You crack me up. Thanks, Ted. The children will thank you too. Happy Holidays!
Ok, I’m in..
p.s. I’ll reserve my ‘soooo’ till I read it. Seems I didn’t get an advance copy..
Sorry. I don’t have my copy yet, either.
Can’t wait to read your story, my friend.
Thank you, Louise. You’re always so kind.
Congratulations, Debra! That’s great.
Thanks! 😀
Congrats, Debra. This looks very cool.
Awe, thanks so much. It is a cool cover isn’t it?
It is, very unique.
I loooooooved Fractured Fairy Tales on Bullwinkle! Going to have to check this out.
Ooh. I haven’t heard of that one. Is it based on the show? If you do, I hope you enjoy it.
Great luck with your book! I am still waiting for my anthologies to come out. They tell me they are behind and it will be soon!

Thanks, Scott. You’ll have to let us know when yours come out. Those delays can be frustrating, can’t they?
Yes, but I am understanding that is quite normal, so not worried. I will let people know!

I’m so late to this party. Congratulations, Debra! Sounds like a wonderful anthology, and I can’t wait to read your story. Awesome!
Thank you, Lynn. It was a fun piece to write and the book is filled with neat takes on the stories we grew up on. Well, not really the stories WE grew up with, but the characters. LOL. Don’t let your grand kids read it without you proofing it first. 😀
Congrats Debra. The money is going to a great cause. I just bought my copy 🙂 Can’t wait to read all the stories. I love fairytale retellings.
Aww, thank you, Reetta! The money is going to a great cause. I love helping the children. I bought a few hard copies for the family and it warms my heart to know it will help the children this holiday. I hope you enjoy the stories.
I know I’m super behind but I just wanted to add my ‘congrats!!!’ into the mix. Very happy for you. 🙂
Thanks, Karen. 🙂
