Zombies… With More Cowbell

The zombies have arrived! Yeah, I know. Halloween is right around the corner. So I could be talking about monsters, witches, princesses or junior Master Chiefs…but I’m not.

No, last Sunday was the big night the hubby and I had been waiting for all summer long – many had been waiting for, actually. The return of The Walking Dead to weekly programming. YAY! We do our celebration dance, grab our comfort snack and curl up cozy on the sofa for the season two premiere.

And now without further ado… The Walking Dead

What? What did you say? That wasn’t The Walking Dead? No? The Walken Dead? As in Christopher Walken? Huh. Well, even BETTER!

Don’t you just think Christopher Walken is the craziest guy worth watching? We love him for his total oddity.

What? He wasn’t in the video? It’s just a bunch of wacked out zombies acting like him? Oh well. You can never be too sure where the zombie virus started. My guess is with Walken himself. Maybe if we look hard enough we’ll find him in there like one of those Where’s Waldo books.

Ha ha. Happy Zombie Thursday all! Hope you enjoyed a little zombie/Walken humor. See the way those zombies shuffle and stumble about all glossy eyed? That’s the way I sort of look in the morning. How about any of you? Is there a point in the day you feel that way? First thing in the morning… end of the day… both? Zombie fan or no zombies? How about Mr. Walken – take him or leave him? I’d love to hear your thoughts as this is super important to helping the world. So feel free to let your fingers fly across the keyboard while you’re here. 🙂

I’m glad I could start your day off with a giggle! When I saw it I had to have it. 😀

I don’t like the creepy undead thing. I don’t do scary things at all. I like puppies and butterflies and rainbows.

I love everything Halloween! Even the creepy zombies, vampires and other dark creatures — well, maybe not TOO creepy but still 🙂

Debra, thank you so much for having my link in your blogroll. I’m gonna link to you too 🙂

I love most of it as well. I can go without the blood and gore. I’d much rather have a traditional scare than a gross you out sort of thing.

You are very welcome Angela. I wanted to link all my wana peeps. And thank you for the link back. 🙂

Hi Debra, I’m back — Tameri linked to you too and I had to read your post again. 🙂 So fun!

Funny! Can’t say I get into the whole zombie thing though. My son watches a show about them and they’re so gross it just makes my eyes hurt to look at them, lol.

What do I think of Christopher Walken? He’s a cutie. Loved him in Catch Me If You Can and The Rundown (except he was such a jerk). Now that they’re older, I get him confused with Jon Voight, and I love him!

Am I ever a zombie? If my eyes are open, I’m a zombie. Doesn’t matter what time of the day it is. But that’s what prolonged sleep deprivation does for you. 🙂

I guess you and I have that prolonged sleep deprivation thing in common. 😀

We watch a show with zombies as well. My husband loves it. I sometimes need to cover my eyes but enjoy the storyline for the most part. 🙂

If you thought Christopher Walken was a jerk in The Rundown than that probably means he did a good job at his role. He usually gets such interesting character parts.

    Thanks for stopping by Kristy.

Oh, Christopher Walken. There’s a plan to combine him with Christoph Waltz. The result: Christophe Waltzen.

Now there would be a crazy sideshow act. LOL Thanks for stopping by storymultiverse!

I’ve seen this and i love it. I’d love to see a followup in which the ‘Walken’ have hypnotic powers and can turn humans into their own species by hypnotising them.

Maybe give them some vampiric traits.
