Finally! My New Release Flies Out of the Blender!

Have you ever felt like your life was dumped into a blender and you were trapped inside while someone turned the mechanism on at the highest speed possible? That is so my life.

Busy, busy. Spin, spin. Busy, busy. Spin, spin.

The thing about my blender life is—I believe it’s stuck on ‘go’ until all the bits and pieces are thoroughly mulched and mingled. Until there is no separating this from that. No dedicated author work time. And no sole purpose housework time. No special kid activity time. Only everything existing together and all at once.  It’s enough to drive a person mad—and I am—if only a little. But don’t worry. I have plenty of company in Madland. 😉

we-re-all-mad-hereIn my crazy and spinning, topsy-turvy world I failed to mention my new release last week. But at least the book managed to make it out of the crazy, spinning, chaos. That’s a major plus!

Yeah, that right. I have an honest to goodness book that I think you’ll like. If you enjoy fantasy, dragons, supernaturals, paranormal, magic, tension, adventure, to name a few. It’s a novella, making it perfect for the reader who doesn’t have a ton of time to invest. And if you love, love, love it! The next book will be here before you can say flying-orange-carnival-dragon!

Okay, maybe a bit longer. But it will be here very soon.

The details:

The Moorigad Dragon : Age of the Hybrid (Book 1)

The Moorigad Dragon by Debra Kristi, authorHere’s a little peek at what you’ll find inside. This is taken from chapter one and takes place between the two leads: Kyra and Sebastian. Kyra has just done what she considers a good deed, and Sebastian isn’t exactly pleased.

“Nah. It’s not that. It’s just…you’re not as mature and Merlin-esque as you think. You still make bad calls. Like this one.” With a lazy finger, Sebastian pointed to the river-drunk man lying at her feet. “I can’t help worrying about you.”

“Eighty-three is plenty old and wise. You needn’t worry about me. Go do your stuff. I’ll meet up with you later.” Proud by nature, born to be strong. She wanted to make sure he understood that about her. Kyra gently shoved him in the chest, nudged him in the direction of the portal.

He pushed back, reached over, and peeled a thin layer of skin from the side of her face. “If you’re going to do stupid things, make sure you maintain the illusion afterwards.” He gingerly rubbed the shimmery orange strip of lizard-like skin between his fingers, then tossed it to the ground. They stood impossibly close, and he lingered a moment longer than necessary, studying her face. With a sigh, he turned and headed for the small land pocket beneath the bridge, glancing back one last time.

It was a forever stare.

He stepped through the gateway between worlds.

Kyra yelled after him, “I’m sorry, Sebastian.”

It was too late, his form already swirled and distorted. He was gone, returned to the carnival, their home away from home, the greatest destination for those who knew how to find it.

Sebastian can be such a jerk—and I love him so much! Any more love out there for Sebastian?

This release has been my little experiment. I’m getting a feel for how it all works. That way I’ll have it all down to a science by book twenty-five. 😀

So cool and so happy for you. I hope sales are many. I added it to my “want to read” column in Good Reads and I tried to “like” it on Amazon but I couldn’t find the “like” box.

    I love the colorful cover!
