I’ve been a bad little blogger, taking the past two weeks off to enjoy the holidays with my family. I highly recommend it. Quality time is so important and the kids grow up so fast. This blog will officially kick back into the swing of things tomorrow, Tuesday. But today I’m asking how many followers have been wondering, “Where in the world is Thor?” His posts have been rather infrequent as of late.
My theory, he’s having too much fun to take the time to write home. Can you blame him? But I did receive word that he just finished a wild ride at Susie Lindau’s. With that beautiful, adventurous host there’s no telling what stories they’ll have to share. A Norse god can have a rather insane definition of what fun is, as we’ve learned from his previous escapades. I encourage you to click the link below and see what kind of trouble may have befallen our small plastic god and fellow blogger this holiday season.
The Visit – A Photo Essay
I realize Thor is having a good time, but he must stay in shape and on his game, always ready for what Loki may have up his sleeve. You see how Loki slipped into the picture above. He’s a sly one. It isn’t easy having a frost giant in the family. 😉
Bad Loki!
To read up on Thor’s past adventures pop over to Thor’s World Tour page. All his stops can be tracked, participating blogs located, and posts easily found with a simple click of the mouse. The amazing participates are bound to bring a smile to your face if not break you out in laughter. They would love to have you visit.
* It’s not too late to sign up and participate in Thor’s tour. All you need to do is drop me a line or leave a comment and we can work you into his schedule.
Thank you for stopping by and sharing the Thor love!
Fun clip. I watched several others when it finished.
Scott
Ha ha. I did the same Scott. Youtube can be a real time suck. LOL. I got totally sucked into that internet show you had posted. I don’t recall the name right now. It’s good I have my family to distract me and help wing me off things. 😀
I really enjoyed hosting Thor! He does have boundless energy. I think he loved being here, but he wasn’t too keen on skiing. He was the party boy in Denver!
Thanks Debra!
I can only imagine him in Denver. He’s such the bad boy. Thanks for having him Susie.
I’m sure Thor is reveling in his ‘chick lit tour’. Looks like he was pretty busy at Susie’s… Good thing her dog didn’t eat him.
That is a good thing. But Thor went up against a much bigger dog in a previous post. Thor came out victorious. I knew our guy would have fun with Susie. He is enjoying his Chick time. Are you saying you don’t want to host him, Ted? 😉
Send him on over if you want to see him have a ‘really’ good time! He may not want to leave.
Message me your information if you would like to be added to the tour and I’ll get you on the list. I know you’d show Thor a rockin’ good time. Serious guys time. Hope the cops don’t have to break anything up. Thor will be traveling for a few months. I’ll let you know when he’s getting closer to coming your way.
I was wondering what happened to Thor! Glad he’s having a good time.
Yeah. There was a lapse of time. Thor went MIA for a while. But we found him! He’s jumping all over the place.
I think time holiday off makes you a GREAT(er) blogger! 😉 Though I have missed Thor… *sniff* You just HAD to introduce us to him in person that night, didn’t you? He cast his spell, and I’m forever smitten. Think he’d be up for a cameo in one of my goofy book promo videos? I promise not to kidnap him–ha!
Aw, thanks. I’m sure something can be arranged in regards to Thor. When are you planning to film?
Don’t feel bad. I’m the biggest slacker in the world when it comes to blogging. My super power seems to be procrastination. ~hangs head in shame~
It’s always great fun to hear what Thor is up to. Trying to prepare for his visit here. Any suggestions on how to god-proof my home?
No. Don’t say it like that. You’re dedicating your time to what should come first – your book. 🙂
Hmm, god-proof. That’s a tough one. I’m not sure there’s a right answer for that one. I’d look into insurance. But then most policies have a disclaimer. Not covered under acts of God – or gods! LOL!
Oh, wow… you’re right! I need to take a look at the fine print on my policy! LOL
Yay for Thor news. And I’m glad Loki got some love too. The video was hilarious. Only 10 months till we see the brothers on the big screen again.
I know! I movie looks promising. I can’t wait. Loki has to get a little lovin’ in. 😉 Thanks, Reetta! How have you been? I’m just getting back into the swing of things after taking a few weeks off. It’s a slow start. So many blogs. Never enough time in the day.
Glad he’s having a good time with Susie.
Sounds like he had a great time. He’s been lucky in that he’s had very gracious hosts all around. 🙂
Loki and Scar, now that’s a combo I wouldn’t have thought of. Fun though! Welcome back, I spent time with the family too, and had animal woes. Hope you get all you wish for in 2013.
Yes, it was a surprising combination that I thought worked out well. I was sorry for your animal woes. I hope your kitty is doing much better and that 2013 brings you many blessings.
I miss Thor! Can’t wait to find out what he’s been up to with Susie. I’m glad you enjoyed some good family time, Debra, and it’s nice to see you back!
It’s good to see you too! Where does the time go? Thor is moving right along. He should be on his way to Texas now, if not already there.
Very entertaining blog! Thanks for putting the work into it. Hope you have a great holiday!
Thank you, Alison. This blog has been many things over the past year. 😀 It’s finding its way. My holiday was wonderful. I hope yours was the same. Welcome to the world of blogging.
You know, sometimes you have to step away and spend time with the family. I did that over the holidays, too. Now, I’m trying to catch up. LOL. Little steps here. I can’t wait to host Thor. 🙂
I couldn’t agree more. Family time is important. In today’s society I think we spend too much time separated as a result of computers, smartphones, video games and televisions. Quality time can’t be emphasized enough. I’m saddened every time I’m at the park and I see a parent that won’t put their phone down for two seconds to spend time with their child. It reminds me of Cat Stevens’ song Cats in the Cradle. 🙁
Anywhoo – Has Thor arrived yet? I can’t wait to see what crazy things you all get into. Fun, fun, fun!
Is Thor on his way?! Squeee! I received a little package in the mail yesterday and thought it might be him. I was disappointed that it was just a book. LOL. That’s a lie. I love getting books!
I’ll keep an eye out for the little god!
Books are awesome! Thor should be coming, or be there. One or the other. You’ll let me know when he arrives.
Glad to hear the weevils are on their way out, and always good to keep up with Thor. You don’t need any more awards, but I’m giving you a shout out today anyway. Fun blog!
Wow. Thank you, Julia. I am completely touched. So glad to hear you’re enjoying Thor’s travels.
I loved that video. I’m one of the Loki fans…bad guys should NOT be so cute. And that video is great! Do you know if Jeremy Irons sang that version, too? If not, someone came very close. 🙂
For the video I’m pretty sure they just took the Lion King sound track and put the Loki artwork to it. It was a lot of fun, wasn’t it? Loki has a huge following. Have you ever looked at how many fan made videos there are for him? It’s crazy!
I am not surprised. For a villain, he’s pretty sexy. 🙂
I’ll have to listen to the song in the Lion King. I really like Jeremy Irons. He has a great voice (and he’s still kind of cute, too). 🙂
