First I must take a moment to celebrate. This is my 100th post. Yay!
Okay, now with that out of the way. The much anticipated Avengers comes out in theaters next week. If you’re as much of a geek as I am you’re enjoying a weekend of superheroes in preparation of the coming event. You heard me. SUPERHEROES! If you’re one of the lucky ones that has the new EPIX channel then you already know they’re running Iron Man 2, The Hulk and the television premiere of Captain America with an added bonus of With Great Power: The Stan Lee Story.
We don’t get the EPIX channel, but we don’t need it since we own most of these movies already. Catching up on our superheroes will be a favorite pastime these next few days. While I’m hunkering down with my little girl’s boyfriend, Thor (she as good taste), I’d like you to help out a friend…

Congrats on your 100th post! I am very excited to see Avengers. Superheroes and directed by Joss Whedon? That’s a two-fer! The IMAX theatre near us is having a Marvel marathon leading up to the midnight showing of Avengers. Before kids, that’s where I would be. Must add this to the list of sacrifices I’ve made for the kids that I’ll tell them about when they get older and start whining about how unfair their life is. 😉
Thank you, Tracey. I hear that! What could be better, right? We are super excited here. Just bought our tickets today. We are all set. Reserved seats and all! Oh my, don’t kids change our lives? LOL My son LOVED Iron Man 2 so much that after he saw it with his dad he insisted on going to see it again that night with me. So funny. I had missed the previous showing to stay home with his little sister. He was so excited and tried to stay awake. Something that concerned me going in, but he nodded off before the end of the film the second time through. 😀 That was a 7:30 showing. LOL
