Step Out of Your Comfort Zone Mash-up!

Did the week have you buried in mounds of paperwork? Always trapped too far behind?

Well, guess what?

The weekend is here. In my book that means it’s time to play!

It’s been a busy work week for many. Valentine’s Day had us scrambling on Tuesday and now it’s time to get out and celebrate. Enjoy being free of suffocating relationships or having the right one wrapped around you.

(Be warned should you proceed: this is SO not serious – and yet, it is. Did I totally confuse you?)

If a good book or movie is your kind of fun, like it is mine, I challenge you to step out of your comfort zone and stretch those wings. It’s time to interact in the real world.

You only live this life once. Get out and live it!

Get gussied up. Hit the town. Meet up with your mates.

Ladies, pick your best skirt.. * Men, put your best face forward.

Show off your favorite "wowza" top!

Add eye-catching accessories

Don't forget the nails and hair!

Bling it!

Bring it!

And step out with pride ٩(:̮̮̃:̃)۶

And don’t forget to show off your smokin’ hot dance moves before the night ends.

But seriously, dancing is good for the soul. Dance often. Out on the scene or at home, where no one can see you. Just let your heart and body sing.

And should you decide to partake in the spirits…

.

Proceed with caution and limit yourself. Drink plenty of water. And avoid the day after monster.

Thanks for including me in your mash-up 🙂
I had a good smile over some of the pictures above. Right now I feel like the day after monster without ever having gone out, so I think a nap and a walk with my dog and my husband might be the best weekend plans for me 🙂

You are so welcome! I hear the spent bit Marcy. There is this really cool thing happening this weekend that I want to see, but it requires a bit of a drive. Sigh. Hope I am up to it. If I go it could become a future post. We will see. Enjoy quality time with the husband.

Right on, Debra! I’ve had eventful weekends, but after reading your post, I’m ready for more adventure! As for wardrobe, I have a black t-shirt two sizes smaller than me that is totally inappropriate for my age. I’ll let you all know if someday I have the courage to wear it…
The video is great, but I’ve always wondered why he didn’t include Madonna’s Vogue. Too easy for him, maybe 🙂 The guys is good.
I was reading your mashup and agreeing wholeheartedly with your choices when I saw my blog in there near the end! What a great surprise. Thank you so much for including it.

If you do get adventurous in the wardrobe department Fabio, please take pictures and share! I see a fun blog coming out of that. 😀 I wanted to send people over to see you flying through the air, but I really had to include our little gal singing. You made it tough for me Fabio. Great posts.

Now you know you wouldn’t want your Momma going out dressed like that!! However, those dance moves sure looked like a lot of fun….but wouldn’t want to embarrass you. Have a wild and crazy weekend dear!

You are probably right. None of that stuff is really your style. And there is someone we both know that would be turning their head up to it all if they saw you in some of that. LOL Have a fabulous weekend mom!

I’ve never seen Animal’s leg’s before, particularly not in ripped rock star jeans. I don’t know what to think of this oddness. Happy weekend!

These ideas sound like a lot of fun. However…I will be spending part of tomorrow hunting up a headlight and (I hope!) someone who knows how to install it. Depending on how successful I am with that…I may or may not go out. Oh wait. I do have a date. With my daughter to see Dwayne Johnson in a movie about an island. At least the popcorn at the theater is good…

Have a fun weekend, Debra! 🙂

Hope you found your headlight and enjoyed the movie Kristy. I am off to my second movie shortly. It will be a mother and son only event. I still have popcorn left over from last night. And to answer the question for FB, no – not The Vow.

I have actually haven’t done any of the things I planned on this weekend. I have, however, taken two naps (and and seriously considering a much needed third). Might do the movie Tuesday night…where I will get a large bag of popcorn…and snack on it over three or four days.

Glad you’re getting some one-on-one time with your son. 🙂

I put all of this advice (except one thing) into use this weekend! What’s that one thing, you ask? Well, let’s just say that it wasn’t as bad of a day after as it could have been. But yes, my hair was let down so far you can call me Rapunzel.
